Job DescriptionConstruction Lead

Fueling Systems, Commercial Construction & Projects

$30–$40 per hour DOE

EnergiSystems is expanding our Construction Team and looking for a hands-on Construction Lead who enjoys working with a strong crew, traveling to project sites, and building high-quality work the right way. We’re a smaller company looking to grow, and we’re seeking someone who wants to grow with us as we expand our reach. Experience in the petroleum or fueling-station industry is a plus — but not required. If you have a solid background in commercial construction and want to expand your skills, we’ll train you.

Why EnergiSystems?

We Build Critical Infrastructure

Our construction team installs and supports fueling systems, piping, electrical components, concrete work, and site infrastructure across the region. If you like variety and meaningful work, you’ll fit right in.

Training Provided

We invest heavily in training and certifications. Even if you’re new to the fueling industry, we’ll help you get up to speed with:

  • DEQ Installer/Remover certifications
  • Fuel system installation standards
  • Safety and environmental compliance
  • Equipment operation and site-specific procedures

If you already hold DEQ certifications, you’ll hit the ground running — but they are not required to apply.

Travel, Fully Supported

This role includes regular travel and overnight stays Monday through Friday. We make it sustainable by providing:

  • $65/day per diem for meals
  • Company-paid hotels
  • All fuel and travel expenses covered
  • Transportation to and from job sites provided

Weekends are home time.

If you enjoy working with a tight-knit crew and seeing new places, this is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and work alongside a construction crew on fueling-system installation projects
  • Perform hands-on work including concrete and formwork, trenching, backfilling, and site prep
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and basic electrical schematics
  • Assist with installation of piping, containment systems, and related components
  • Operate equipment such as skid steers, excavators, compactors, and saws
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance on every job site
  • Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and customers as needed
  • Support training and development of crew members

What You Bring

Required

  • Experience in commercial construction (concrete, forms, equipment operation, or similar)
  • Ability to read construction drawings and basic schematics
  • Strong hands-on work ethic and willingness to lead by example
  • Ability to travel Monday–Friday with overnight stays
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment screenings

Highly Preferred

  • DEQ Installer/Remover certification (or willingness to obtain — we’ll train)
  • Experience with piping, trenching, or underground utilities
  • Experience leading small crews or work groups
  • Mechanical or electrical aptitude

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Lift/move 50–100 lbs
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and changing schedules
  • Ability to work in high-traffic or active construction environments

Benefits & Career Growth

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Matching 401(k)
  • Paid training and certification incentives
  • Advancement opportunities within a growing construction team
  • Per diem, hotels, and all travel expenses covered
  • Company transportation to job sites
