Multi-business enterprise seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support bookkeeping and day-to-day office operations. This is a part-time role, approximately 20–25 hours per week, for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Enter and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks.

Track payments, expenses, and account activity.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.

Organize financial records and maintain accurate files for CPA review.

Support vendor communication, internal coordination, and basic office operations.

Help improve accounting processes and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications

2+ years of QuickBooks or bookkeeping experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficient in Excel and digital file management.

Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Experience in mortgage, finance, or professional services is a plus.
