In this role, you will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care under the guidance of individuals licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medications and treatments, or under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). You will hold professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and will collaborate with various departments to ensure coordinated patient care.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will utilize the nursing process to offer patient care while working under the supervision of licensed professionals or an RN. You will be responsible for maintaining accountability for the care of your assigned patients and will work in conjunction with other departments to coordinate care effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program; equivalent educational experience and successful licensure may also be considered.
- Licensure: You must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the state where you will perform nursing duties, adhering to all State Board of Nursing regulations.
- Experience: Open to both new and experienced LPNs.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on the specific position or unit, including:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
- Six Assessment & Care Modules
- Other unit-specific certifications as necessary
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift; frequent bending, stooping, and lifting/turning patients with assistance; capability to push, pull, or grip up to 50 pounds.
