Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Position available for a Special Education Teacher to support students in a school setting located in Absecon, NJ. This role involves travel between school sites within the area to provide direct instructional services to students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs.
- Deliver specialized instruction in various subjects to students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent support for students.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Manage classroom behavior in a positive and proactive manner.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working in a school environment with special needs students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Willingness and ability to travel between school locations as required.
