Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for two Occupational Therapists with experience in preschool early intervention, located in the Whitehall, PA area. These positions offer the chance to provide vital itinerant OT services to young children as part of a dynamic educational support system within Carbon and Lehigh counties.

Location:
Work will be performed in Carbon County or Lehigh County, with the possibility of assignments varying throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver itinerant occupational therapy services to preschool children under early intervention programs.
  • Provide flexible service delivery across PreK through 12th grade depending on school year assignment changes.
  • Collaborate with educational and therapeutic teams to support individualized educational goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered in compliance with program guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania OT license required.
  • Current NBCOT certification.
  • Valid PPID number.
  • Experience in early intervention and school-based occupational therapy preferred.
  • Willingness to work in-person only and flexibility to serve a range of grade levels (PreK-12).
  • Ability to manage itinerant caseloads effectively.

Schedule:

  • 35 hours per week with an assignment start date as soon as possible, continuing tentatively through the 2026-27 school year.
  • Early intervention operates on a year-round calendar.
