Job DescriptionJob Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist/Hygiene Program & Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The hours for this position are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2-3 years of experience in the dental field and be a self starter who looks for ways to improve practice operations and increase responsibilities.
*******PREVIOUS DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*******
Duties:
- Perform daily front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and phone systems management.
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage hygiene recall program
- Utilize Open Dental or similar software for managing appointments and updating patient information. - Manage insurance-related tasks, including verifying patient coverage, processing claims, and communicating with patients and insurance companies
- Handle medical records, insurance verification, and billing inquiries effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, creating a welcoming environment at the front desk.
