Job DescriptionRegistered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room
Location: Honesdale, Pennsylvania
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $62.00/Hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: Variable Evenings/Nights
Schedule: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Must Work Both Shifts)
Hours: 36 Hours Weekly
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, emergency nursing experience, and the ability to manage a wide range of patient conditions while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
Required Qualifications
• Active RN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current PALS Certification
• Recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Trauma and critical care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
• Administer emergency medications and treatments
• Monitor and document patient conditions
• Respond to trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and medical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure compliance with emergency department protocols and standards
• Deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered emergency care
