Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Event Rental Delivery Team Member - driver - to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery, setup, and pickup of tent rental equipment for various events. You will work closely with our warehouse and logistics teams to ensure that our customers receive their orders as scheduled and in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles for the transportation of rental equipment to various event locations.
- Assist in loading and unloading rental items from the warehouse and delivery vehicle.
- Set up and dismantle tent rental equipment at event sites, ensuring that all items are properly placed and functioning.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Inspect equipment for damage or defects before and after delivery, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during transportation and on-site setups.
- Work efficiently with team members to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking and reporting on rental items.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve skills and service quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in event rentals, logistics, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
