Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time occupational therapist position is available for a contract lasting the 2025-2026 school year, servicing PreK-12th grades in a K-12 school setting located near Harpers Ferry, WV. This opportunity is ideal for occupational therapists (OT) and certified occupational therapy assistants (COTA) experienced in school-based therapy services, home health, and teletherapy.
Responsibilities include providing occupational therapy services that support the development of fine motor and gross motor skills for students. The role will involve assessments, direct therapy implementation, treatment planning, and collaboration with educators and families to enhance student outes. Experience in both traditional school environments and teletherapy platforms is highly valuable.
Key qualifications:
- Valid OT or COTA license or certification appropriate for school settings
- Proven skills in fine motor and gross motor therapeutic interventions
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services in home health and teletherapy formats
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support K-12 students
