Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Client: Heartland Dental
Location: Viera, FL
Payrate: Open for discussion
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care as a clinical provider and patient advocate
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation
- Deliver preventative care and support overall maintenance of patients’ oral health
- Exercise full clinical autonomy while collaborating with the dental team
- Utilize advanced dental technologies as required by the office
- Participate in ongoing learning and clinical skill development
- Comply with all clinical and office requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
- Proficiency in dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to start of employment
Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Strong desire to continue learning and expanding clinical skills
- Commitment to preventative care and long-term patient oral health
