HVAC Service Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a strong HVAC Service Manager to lead our service department and support a team of skilled technicians. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, improving operations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
You will oversee day-to-day service operations, ensure jobs are completed efficiently and correctly, and help drive performance across the department. Your leadership will directly impact customer satisfaction, technician success, and overall company growth.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of HVAC service technicians
- Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling and dispatch
- Ensure service calls are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards
- Perform quality control checks and job inspections
- Handle customer escalations and maintain strong client relationships
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs
- Coordinate with sales and installation teams for seamless service delivery
- Manage parts, equipment, and inventory levels
- Review service reports, KPIs, and financial data to improve performance
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership or management experience
- HVAC knowledge preferred (not required)
- Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance
- Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using service software and basic computer programs
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Experience & Requirements
- 5+ years of HVAC experience or equivalent education/experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle after-hours calls when needed
- Working knowledge of boilers and indoor air quality products is a plus
- Must pass background check and drug screening
