Starting Pay:$20.00 per hour plus commision
Looking for a for a great opportunity? Well we have one for you! Our practice is looking for a dedicated, self motivated individual with a great personality! Our Dispensing Optician is responsible for providing superior customer service and assisting patients in their pursuit of eyewear.
Dispensing Optician responsibilities:
- Guide and assist patients in the eyewear and frame/lens selection process, by using extensive knowledge of product lines and options to educate patient
- Frame adjustments, repairs and dispensing eye wear and contacts
- Maintaining communication with patients ie. material orders, insurance benefits etc.
- Provide patients with comprehensive explanation of their insurance benefits such as VSP, Eyemed, Davis and Spectera
- Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment
- Occasionally Optical will assist front desk in answering phones, processing patient payments, and making appointments.
- CL insertion/removal training,
Applicant must have 2 years experience in an optical dispensary.
