Job Description
BryceTech is currently looking for a Decision Analysis Analyst – Senior. This position will be supporting The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, Chemical Biological Center, known as DEVCOM CBC. This role will design and execute decision-support models and risk assessments to support government leads.
The Person in this role will:
- Design and implement decision-support models such as decision trees, influence diagrams, and multi-criteria trade-off analyses.
- Conduct risk and uncertainty assessments using simulations, value-at-risk calculations, and sensitivity studies.
- Develop cost-benefit frameworks, utility functions, and threshold analyses to inform acquisition and investment decisions.
- Integrate qualitative expert judgments with quantitative data through structured elicitation sessions.
- Validate model inputs, assumptions, and outputs by performing peer reviews and data audits to ensure accuracy.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualization tools that present analytic results and recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations stakeholders to define decision criteria and gather relevant data.
- Document methodologies, model structures, version histories, and user guides to maintain transparency and reproducibility.
- Maintain and update decision-support software, templates, and libraries with emerging best practices.
- Evaluate new decision-analysis techniques and tools, recommending process improvements and technology enhancements.
Qualifications
The experience and certification requirements listed below are essential to successfully perform the tasks above:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in decision analysis, modeling, or risk assessment.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, R, @RISK, or Python-based analytics with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, data-visualization expertise, and effective communication skills.
