We are looking for a Hearing Aid Instrument Specialist to work full or part time on site at our ENT practice. Your role would include scheduling Hearing Aid checks, troubleshooting of hearing aid issues, providing patient education and counseling, and supporting the great team of audiologists in the hearing aid department. Documentation of visit notes and excellent oral and written communication with clinical staff will ensure continuity of patient care. Diagnostic skills are required, as patients may need audiometric testing as part of the hearing aid programming/adjusting process. Familiarity and comfort with taking ear mold impressions a plus. Our practice currently works with Signia, Phonak, Oticon, Starkey, Widex, and Unitron brands. Experience with some or most of these manufacturers preferred. No high pressure sales quotas to maintain but the opportunity to earn sales incentives is possible. ENT and Allergy Specialists has offices in the Bryn Mawr/King of Prussia area we offer a full range medical treatments and procedures pertaining to ears nose and throat and allergy concerns. Our team prioritizes listening to each patient and coming up with the best treatment plan for every individual
Qualifications
- Two years experience preferred with hearing aid dispensing
- Active state licensure or HIS certification in good standing.
- Proficiency in audiometric testing and summarizing results.
- Clear ability to demonstrate empathy in patient interactions
- Experience with at least one of the above brands
- Computer skills are sufficient to navigate basic office technology, NOAH and our EMR
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of a multidisciplinary team
