We are seeking an experienced SeniorPropertyManager to oversee a multi site portfolio of residential communities across Washington, DC.This is a high impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team development across a dynamic urban portfolio. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on comfortable managing day-to-day operations while partnering with leadership on long-term asset performance.

- Overseeallaspectsofoperationsacrossamulti-propertyportfolioinWashington,DC,ensuringstrongfinancialandoperationalperformance.
- Lead,mentor,anddevelopon-siteteams(propertymanagers,leasing,maintenance,andadministrativestaff),settingclearexpectationsanddrivingaccountability.
- OwnfullP&Lresponsibility,includingbudgeting,forecasting,rentcollections,expensemanagement,andvarianceanalysis.
- PartnercloselywithAssetManagementandexecutiveleadershiptoexecutebusinessplans,improveNOI,andidentifyopportunitiesforvaluecreation.
- Driveleasingperformancethroughoversightofpricingstrategy,marketinginitiatives,andoccupancytrendsacrosstheportfolio.
- Ensurecompliancewithalllocal,state,andfederalregulations,includingFairHousing,DC-specificrequirements,andcompanypolicies.
- Actastheprimaryescalationpointforcomplexresidentmatters,operationalchallenges,andriskmitigation.
- Overseecapitalimprovementprojects,includingscopedevelopment,vendorbidding,contractmanagement,andexecutionincoordinationwithownership.
- Monitorpropertyconditionsthroughregularsitewalksandaudits,ensuringhighstandardsforcurbappeal,maintenance,andoverallassetquality.
- Supporthiring,onboarding,andperformancemanagementtobuildandretainhigh-performingteams.
WhatYoullBring
- 5+yearsofpropertymanagementexperience,withdemonstratedsuccessmanagingmultiplesitesoralarge,complexasset.
- Provenleadershipexperiencemanaginganddevelopingteamsacrossleasing,maintenance,andoperations.
- Strongfinancialacumen,includingexperiencewithbudgets,reforecasts,rentrollanalysis,andoperationalreporting.
- Experienceoperatinginanurban,fast-pacedmarketwithafocusonperformanceandresidentexperience.
- Excellentproblem-solvingskillswiththeabilitytobalancestrategicthinkingandhands-onexecution.
- Strongcommunicationandorganizationalskills,withtheabilitytoinfluencebothon-siteteamsandseniorleadership.
- ProficiencywithMicrosoftOfficeandpropertymanagementsystems(e.g.,OneSite,Yardi,orsimilar).
- FairHousingCertification(orwillingnesstoobtain)
