Job DescriptionA well-established industry leader located in Solana Beach, is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist for a temporary, in-office assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative work environment.

The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable navigating multiple systems to ensure accurate and timely cash application.

Cash Applications Specialist Responsibilities:
- Apply incoming payments (ACH, wires, checks) to customer accounts with accuracy and speed
- Reconcile discrepancies between customer remittances and open invoices
- Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments
- Work across multiple systems to process and track cash activity
- Communicate with internal teams and customers as needed to resolve payment issues
- Assist with reporting and other month-end tasks

Cash Applications Specialist Requirements:
- Strong experience in cash applications or accounts receivable
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Comfortable working with multiple software and ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
