We're seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Manager for a travel-based position in West Virginia, offering a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role within a collaborative and well-supported hospital environment.
Assignment Dates: ASAP through March 1, 2026 (or until a permanent hire is made)
Work Hours: MondayFriday, 8-hour shifts
Some weeks may average fewer than 40 hours. No weekends or on-call.

EMR Platform: EPIC (prior experience helpful, but training available)

Automation System: Pyxis (familiarity preferred, but not required we will train)

Pharmacy Team Size:

15 Pharmacists

23 Pharmacy Technicians
Technicians handle med filling and sterile compounding no order entry duties.
What Youll Be Doing:

Lead P&T Committee initiatives
-
Develop and oversee antimicrobial stewardship strategies
-
Mentor and educate staff pharmacists
-
Collaborate with the operations team to implement clinical programs and system-wide protocols

Maintain and demonstrate competency in sterile compounding
Administrative Scope:
-
Conduct policy review and updates as needed
-
Represent the site at WVU subcommittees and eP&T meetings
-
Drive adoption of WVU-wide clinical initiatives and formulary updates
Qualifications:
-
At least 1 year of recent experience as a Clinical Pharmacy Manager or hospital-based Clinical Pharmacist in an acute care setting

Active and clear West Virginia Pharmacist License
