We are currently hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for our Detox and Residential treatment facility in Fort Collins, CO.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide medical care, medication management, and clinical oversight in a detox and residential substance use disorder treatment setting.
This role emphasizes patient stabilization, interdisciplinary collaboration, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance, allowing clinicians to practice thoughtfully in a structured, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide medical monitoring and medication management in detox and residential care
• Stabilize patients with substance use disorders to support engagement in treatment
• Order and review medications, labs, and urine drug screens (UDS)
• Document all medical care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review (UR) teams
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, JCAHO, CARF, and ASAM standards
• Manage daily and weekly patient schedules efficiently
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in Colorado
• Valid Colorado medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, psychiatry, or mental health (1+ year preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
