Job DescriptionCost Accountant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for a candidate to fill a full-time Cost Accountant job located in the Houston TX area. Houston-based job is the largest manufacturing company in its field and is looking for a candidate with 2-plus years of standard cost accounting experience and/or manufacturing experience.
Job Duties:

Month-end close procedures.

Ensure standard costing is recorded accurately.

Prepare monthly accruals and target costing projects.

Perform monthly variance analysis.
-
Perform balance sheet reconciliations of inventory accounts.

Calculation and maintenance of inventory reserves
-
Preparation and posting of journal entries.

Assist in reporting and execution of branches cycle count / physical inventory.
Qualifications:
-
2 plus years of cost accounting experience
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Employment Type: Full Time
