Overview:
The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safer transportation of materials and products to various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company truck(s) for local pick-ups and deliveries
- Load/unload materials safely and securely
- Assist Shipping & Receiving team with staging, labeling, and documentation
- Assist with managing and organizing inventory as needed
- Provide general support throughout the plant, including material movement, clean-up, and basic tasks
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle(s)
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company
- Any additional duties assigned by management
Qualifications & Experience:
Any combination of education and/or experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Chauffer’s license required
- CLD preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks
- Forklift experience a plus (training provided if needed)
