Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support in an educational setting located in Esko, MN. This role requires working directly with school-aged children, assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders to enhance student success and participation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed documentation of services and student progress in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide services across multiple school locations, requiring local travel
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel between school sites within the region
