Summary of Position:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member to join our Delivery & Installation crew. This role focuses on the delivery, assembly, and installation of office furniture, including desks, credenzas, conference tables, and cubicles, at customer sites. Key responsibilities include disassembling and reconfiguring office systems furniture, reading and following room layouts, troubleshooting and servicing furniture issues, and ensuring timely, accurate installation. The position also involves product pick-up and delivery from the warehouse, crating/uncrating items, and providing exceptional customer service throughout each project. Experience with office cubicle systems is preferred not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
  • Assemble, install, and secure products or equipment according to manufacturer instructions, project plans, or blueprints.
  • Measure, cut, and fit materials to ensure accurate and efficient installation.
  • Test and inspect completed installations for proper function, safety, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform adjustments or repairs when needed.
  • Communicate with team members, supervisors, and customers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Complete required documentation such as work orders, checklists, or reports.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to carry out goals and instructions and to follow through on assignments.
  • Ability to communicate in both speech and writing.
  • Demonstrates a customer focus.
  • Ability to safely move up to 100 lbs. or more with assistance.
  • Ability to maintain heavy physical activity during shift.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and walk frequently.
  • Ability to read blue prints.
  • Ability to work in in-door/out-door climate.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Experience with office cubicle systems is preferred not required.
