Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as applicable).
- Strong understanding of dental practices, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- Current CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and developing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care.
- Ability to address clinical needs as required by the office.
- Open to recent graduates.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to perform essential duties as required by the office or supervising doctor, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally.
- Willingness to participate in virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
- To ensure a safe environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment. Arrangements for the test will be made during the pre-employment process, with necessary guidance provided. This requirement does not apply in Florida and Tennessee.
