Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary-aged students in an educational setting in San Diego, CA. This contract position offers a structured caseload, working Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, beginning August 5, 2025, through June 5, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active California Speech-Language Pathologist certification
- Credentials may include SLP with CCC, SLP CFY, SLP School, or SLPA School licenses
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience working in a school environment
- Ability to manage a caseload of 30-40 elementary students
- Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with educators and families
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized therapy plans
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
