LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a dynamic, private equity-backed pharmaceutical company located in Ewing, NJ, that is focused on innovation, transparency, and rapid growth. As the company continues to expand, they are building out their finance function and are seeking a strategic and hands-on FP&A Manager to join their team. This is a newly created, high-visibility role with direct impact, reporting directly to the CFO and offering a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of the organization from the ground up.

Compensation: $150,000- 180,000 base + bonus

Position Summary:

The FP&A Manager will serve as the CFO’s right hand, responsible for building the financial planning and analysis function from the ground up. This includes designing and implementing the company’s first-ever budgeting process, creating detailed reporting packages for executive leadership and the board, and driving financial transparency across the organization. Exposure to private equity-backed environments is essential, as the role requires a high level of detail, accountability, and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive budgeting process from scratch.
  • Create detailed and transparent financial reporting packages for the CFO and board of directors.
  • Own revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Partner cross-functionally to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare variance analyses, scenario modeling, and ad hoc financial reports.
  • Support the future implementation of NetSuite and help integrate FP&A processes into the system.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior finance staff as the team grows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
  • 7–8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience building FP&A processes from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
  • Must have experience working in a private equity-backed company.
  • Industry flexibility, but inventory experience is a strong plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership or the board.

Benefits: M/D/V

Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
