Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Two part-time paraprofessional positions are available to support preschool students in a combination of intensive needs and general education classrooms. These roles require working closely with the special education (SPED) population, providing essential support within a school setting.
Location: Hollis, NH
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 2:50 PM (26 hours per week)
Contract Duration: Start ASAP through June 17, 2026
Setting: Preschool classrooms at a primary school
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily implementation of instructional activities for preschool students, including those with intensive behavioral needs
- Support classroom teachers in managing and addressing behavioral challenges using ABA techniques
- Participate in classroom rearrangements and adapt as necessary to support student needs
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive learning environment tailored to the SPED population
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Prior paraprofessional experience in a school setting, particularly with behavioral-based support
- ABA training or demonstrated experience with ABA strategies
- Comfortable and skilled in working with students with special education needs
- Reliable transportation to and from the school
- Must be able to pass district fingerprinting and onboarding processes
- One completed professional reference required before submission
- Willingness and flexibility to adjust based on classroom needs
- Availability for a Zoom interview
