Job Type: Full-Time Exempt, 40 Hours per Week
Pay: Base Salary $60,000 - $65,000/year plus Commission.

Job Description

HOIST Fitness Systems, a leading manufacturer of fitness strength equipment, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual to join us full-time as a Commercial Direct Sales Representative, reporting to the Director of Commercial Sales, in North America. This role will focus on growing sales within specific markets and territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Comprehensive knowledge of our products and those of our competitors
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with both current and potential customers.
  • Analyze territories to identify the best opportunities for profitable growth.
  • Maintain a high level of sales activity by consistently reaching out to customers in your assigned territory.
  • Attend product installations on-site for each sale to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Keep your manager updated on sales progress and pipeline, providing accurate forecasts and reports.
  • Share product development feedback with management.
  • Communicate any major customer service or product issues to your manager.
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
  • Schedule and conduct product demonstrations with prospective clients.
  • Track industry trends to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Attending industry trade shows to develop leads and engage with existing customers.
  • Create and maintain a strategic business plan, including activity allocation and processes to achieve sales targets.
  • Prepare proposals according to company policies and procedures.
  • Proficiently prepare layouts using Ecdesign software.
  • Follow up on overdue receivables if requested by accounting.
  • Travel requirement: minimum of 50%.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Experience managing commercial accounts is required
  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Proven sales experience with a record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present formally to both small and large groups.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, OR at least five years of relevant experience.
