Steel Tool & Engineering is looking for a highly analytical, precise, and detail-oriented person to join our team as a full-time Quality Control Inspector. You'll play a critical part in our manufacturing processes, making sure every product we create meets client needs and our company's standards. THE QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Ability to work the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift 50 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks with few breaks
- Strong knowledge of measurement tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Clear and effective communication skills
Ideally, we'd prefer a candidate familiar with ISO standards/industry regulations and who has quality inspection experience in an industry like steel, tooling, or engineering.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Our Quality Control Inspector ensures our products meet our high standards while actively seeking out ways to improve processes and increase efficiency. Using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers, you'll inspect finished steel tools, components, and engineering materials to make sure they check all the boxes. You'll maintain detailed product records for audits and quality tracking, making note of any defects or problems in the products. If you notice a recurring issue, you'll work with quality, production, and engineering teams to solve the problem and optimize our manufacturing processes. You'll play a big part in our day-to-day success and long-term growth.
