Job DescriptionAtlas Pressure Control is a leading provider of oilfield pressure-control equipment and services, specializing in wellhead and pressure-control solutions for drilling and production operations. As the Inside Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination between sales, operations, and field teams to deliver high-quality equipment and service to our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Inside Sales function and team.
- Coordinate with Outside Sales to align on customer rig schedules, priorities, and deliverables.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure accuracy of equipment schedules.
- Review and approve quotes, sales orders, and supporting documentation.
- Create, organize, and maintain digital records and job files.
- Review engineering drawings to ensure alignment with customer and operational requirements.
- Coordinate across operations, shop, and field teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Track equipment orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Manage communication with vendors, freight carriers, and logistics providers.
- Monitor standard costs, escalate discrepancies, and drive corrective actions.
- Support and enforce quality inspection processes prior to delivery.
- Establish and improve processes for scheduling, order management, and internal communication.
- Identify workflow gaps and bottlenecks, implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational capabilities.
- Provide hands-on support in shop operations (assembly, testing, inspection) as required.
- Support weekend operations and provide on-call support outside normal hours as needed.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales, operations coordination, or a related environment
- Experience leading workflows, projects, or cross-functional teams
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Valid driver's license
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to travel as needed between the Odessa office and branch/manufacturing facility
- Availability to support weekend operations and provide on-call support outside normal business hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience using ERP systems and digital file/document management systems
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as NetSuite or Fishbowl
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of pressure-control equipment (e.g., gate valves, production trees, wellheads, spools, hangers, packoffs)
