Position Summary
Hernandez Plumbing / Total Care Restoration is seeking a motivated Water Damage Restoration Technician to join our growing team in Doral, FL. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in the restoration field. Whether you already have experience in water restoration or come from a general labor background, we are prepared to train the right candidate to become a skilled restoration technician capable of handling water damage, mold remediation, and fire restoration projects.
Customer service is a core part of this role, and we are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water damage restoration, mold remediation, and fire restoration services
- Assist with emergency response jobs, including after‐hours and weekend calls
- Set up and monitor drying equipment
- Perform demolition, cleanup, and restoration labor as needed
- Safely work on ladders, roofs, and elevated areas
- Communicate professionally with customers during restoration projects
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all job sites
Qualifications
- English proficiency required; bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire restoration
- Comfortable performing manual labor, including working on ladders and roofs
- Experience with vertical lifts is a plus
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and after‐hours as needed
