Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer with carpentry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on-site.

Essential Duties
· Review jobsite needs with team lead to fully comprehend scopes of work per plans and specifications to complete job assignment
- Display high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations.
- Fully understand work instructions, project signage, and safety instructions from tool and equipment manufacturers and prepare and inspect tools prior use to ensure safe and working condition.
- Participate in activities of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Perform physical labor to assist with jobsite clean-up, rough carpentry, site logistics, fencing, deck and platform building, protection systems, construction waste areas, and additional job assignments as directed.
- Review project perimeter for security and cleanliness daily, participate in end of day clean-up activities.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Assist in the installation of structures, fixtures, and other construction elements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the project duration.
- Identify, communicate problems and issues to supervisor for immediate resolution.
- Assist other craft workers in their trades as directed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- Must have carpentry experience
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to accommodate weekend work as needed
