We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team in New York, NY. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide excellent front desk support and facilities assistance, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors, clients, and applicants, ensuring a positive first impression while following security protocols.
• Manage meeting and conference room arrangements, including setup, catering orders, and technological equipment preparation.
• Handle clerical tasks such as distributing office packages and maintaining inventory of supplies.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and freight, arranging messenger services as necessary.
• Provide guest hospitality services, including transportation arrangements, ticket bookings, and reservations.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area and public spaces, ensuring furniture is properly positioned.
• Report and document any issues with furniture, fixtures, or equipment to the facilities or property management team.
• Assist in planning and setting up employee engagement events and activities as directed.
• Follow established procedures to complete tasks efficiently, with limited discretion under supervision.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with up to two years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard work routines and procedures.
• Strong communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.
