A healthcare facility in Clarksville, TN, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Med-Surg experience for a contract opportunity. This role involves providing critical nursing care on a medical-surgical unit supporting 18 to 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. The schedule consists of day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, requiring availability every other weekend and holiday, with no call and no block scheduling. Flexibility to float within the unit is expected.
Qualifications:
- Current Tennessee RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; 2 years on a Med-Surg floor preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR, including Merge and PowerChart
- Ability to work a schedule with maximum time off request (RTO) of one week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with facility protocols
- Accurately chart patient information using electronic medical record systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain professional, compassionate communication with patients and families
- Adhere strictly to infection control and safety procedures
