About the Role
As an Expert-level Registered Nurse Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality care in a long-term care/state facility setting. This is a 3rd shift position (10:15 PM – 6:15 AM), where your leadership will directly impact both the nursing team and the patients we serve. You’ll oversee nursing operations, provide clinical guidance, and work collaboratively to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day will involve: - Supervising and coordinating nursing care delivery across assigned units. - Providing clinical leadership and serving as a resource for nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams. - Ensuring compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and care standards. - Monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality of care and patient safety. - Conducting staff training, orientation, and performance evaluations. - Administering medications, treatments, and supporting patient care as needed. - Maintaining accurate documentation, reports, and clinical records. - Advocating for patients and fostering a safe, therapeutic environment. - Collaborating with nursing leadership and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an expert-level RN Supervisor with: - 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse OR 4+ years of professional nursing experience in mental, physical, or developmental care. - An active Pennsylvania RN license or a valid temporary practice permit. - A strong understanding of daily living care and nursing support services. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - A passion for leadership and a commitment to patient-centered care.
