We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students in the Oswego, IL area.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Illinois State License: Must be obtained from IDFPR and possess ISBE PEL.
- Certification from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association).
Role Overview:
As an SLP, your primary responsibility will be to create and implement tailored education and treatment plans for students whose communication abilities are affected by developmental challenges, disabilities, or injuries. This position allows you to work closely with young students in a nurturing school setting, making a lasting impact on their growth.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Start Date: As soon as possible until the end of the school year.
- Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Setting: Elementary school, serving students of elementary age.
- Work Environment: In-person only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt and modify lessons and curricula to meet the unique needs of each student and their IEP goals.
- Assist in facilitating IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs.
- Create a learning environment that is engaging and suitable for the developmental stages and interests of students.
- Establish and communicate clear expectations for behavior and classroom conduct, utilizing positive reinforcement and behavior modification strategies as necessary. Aid in the creation and execution of student behavior intervention plans.
