Thompson Gray is seeking a highly skilled DoD Financial Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide financial analysis support. This role focuses on analyzing Army financial policy and systems issues, to include current ERPs and Legacy systems, to provide informed guidance and lessons learned to an Army customer.
Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-time, not to exceed 20hrs/week
Worksite details: On-site
Duties will include:
- Assist in the automation, standardization, and compilation of required monthly, quarterly, and annual budgetary reports of DoD financial systems to include ERPs and legacy systems
- Provide guidance on DoD system database development
- Support the maintenance of DoD's financial systems as it relates to the prototyping, document conversion, risk management
Position Requirements:
- Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, or program execution within a DoD or federal environment.
- Hands-on experience with DoD systems for financial reporting (data analysis, report interpretation, or financial modeling using GFEBS outputs).
- Experience with Trial Balance, GTAS reporting requirements, cash accountability, and FBwT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
