Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting opportunity for a contract Occupational Therapist in a school setting near Twin Falls, ID! This full-time, onsite role spans the 2026-2027 school year, providing services districtwide. With a district of approximately 400-500 students on IEPs, you and a fellow OT will collaborate, ensuring manageable caseloads as assignments are divided between both professionals. Each school you serve is conveniently located within just a few blocks, making daily travel easy and efficient.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for Idaho (or eligible to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous school-based OT experience, particularly with IEPs, preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered therapy
- Willingness to relocate to the Twin Falls area for the duration of the contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students with IEPs across assigned schools
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educators and other service providers to ensure comprehensive student support
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed, providing expertise and recommendations
- Travel between nearby school sites within the district (all within close proximity)
This contract position runs from August 17, 2026, through May 20, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
