📍 CT Technologist – 6-Week Temporary Assignment\nStart: ASAP\nDuration: 6 weeks only (covering maternity leave)\nShift: Monday – Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM\nWork Type: Full-time\n\n📋 Job Summary:\nThe Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist will perform a range of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures, assist fellow technologists as needed, and help maintain efficient patient workflow. Flexibility to work other shifts or campuses may be required. The tech must be familiar with equipment troubleshooting, PACS systems, and quality assurance standards, and must demonstrate professionalism aligned with the organization’s values.\n\n✅ Requirements:\n🎓 Education:\nGraduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent\n\n💼 Experience:\n1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred\n\nBasic computer proficiency required\n\n🏥 Certifications (Must Have):\nBLS – AHA required\n\nOne of the following ARRT/NMTCB primary certifications:\n\nRadiography (R)\n\nNuclear Medicine Technology\n\nComputed Tomography (CT) (Required at hire in New Mexico; otherwise within 1 year)\n\n🗺️ State Licensure Requirements:\nTexas: MRT by TMB\n\nLouisiana: LRT (R), (N), or (F) by LSRTBE\n\nNew Mexico: CT or FUS by MIRTP NMED (CT required upon hire)\n\n🖥️ Technical Skills:\nProficient with CT and X-ray equipment\n\nExperience with PACS (must be able to escalate issues, act as PACS Superuser during downtime)\n\nCharting System: Likely EPIC or client-specific system\n\n🔄 Other Responsibilities:\nMay be required to float within system or between nearby campuses\n\nMay assist with X-ray during slower CT volume\n\nMust adhere to confidentiality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance\n\nExpected to participate in continuing education and maintain required competencies\n\n💬 Comments:\nTemporary role due to staff member on maternity leave\n\nNo on-call required\n\nHolidays rotate with staff as applicable\n\nMust uphold CHRISTUS Health’s mission and core values
