New Ulm, MN 56073

Duration: 12+ Months

Pay rate: $ 20 -21.42/Hr.


Overview:

The Human Resource Assistant (Contingent Worker) provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, primarily assisting with recruiting and hiring activities. This role helps ensure an efficient candidate experience and supports day-to-day HR processes by coordinating interviews, support orientation activities, administering employment-related assessments, and performing other assigned duties as directed by the supervisor.


Duties/Responsibilities

Describe the day-to-day tasks the worker will perform.

  • Administer MESP and GAMB tests to support the hiring process activities, including candidate communication and follow-up.
  • Support HR staff and hiring managers with applicant tracking and related administrative tasks.
  • Assist with orientation, print, organize, and scan new employee orientation documents into Workday.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR function.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.


Required Skills

  • Previous administrative, recruiting coordination, onboarding, or HR support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Workday, and other administrative systems preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.


Skills

Nice to Have (Optional)

  • Experience supporting recruiting, hiring, or onboarding activities.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR systems such as Workday.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting a team environment.
