At GOSO, we partner with young people impacted by the legal system to build safer, healthier, opportunity-filled futures. We’re hiring a Clinical Program Manager to lead day-to-day clinical operations, elevate evidence-based care, and grow a high-performing team that delivers life-changing results.
What you’ll do
- Run the engine: Oversee daily operations of the Clinical Department in alignment with organizational and state regulations; ensure smooth, efficient workflows.
- Build coach a great team: Lead hiring, onboarding, supervision, and performance management; deliver ongoing clinical training and professional development.
- Raise the clinical bar: Guide diagnosis and treatment planning; champion evidence-based, trauma-informed practices; provide direct clinical supervision.
- Own quality compliance: Review treatment plans, court reports, safety/relapse prevention plans, and EHR documentation; monitor high-risk cases; target 100% chart compliance.
- Design meaningful programming: Coordinate groups, workshops, schedules, and resources that are person-centered and integrated across services.
- Model client care: Carry a small caseload when needed; ensure warm handoffs to external partners and seamless care transitions.
- Lead the room: Facilitate team meetings, case conferences, and staff trainings; track and report session counts, grant deliverables, and contractual KPIs.
- Partner for scale: Maximize our collaboration with The Child Center of NY and other community partners to expand reach and impact.
- Do what it takes: Jump in on special projects and departmental priorities as assigned.
What you bring
- License: LCSW required (SIFI a plus).
- Experience: 3–5 years leading clinical or program operations in nonprofits or community mental health; strong track record managing teams and programs.
- Justice lens: Deep commitment to criminal and racial justice; experience serving youth impacted by the legal system and marginalized communities.
- Clinical excellence: Skilled in evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches; confident with diagnosis, treatment planning, and supervision.
- Operator mindset: Systems thinker with superb organization, documentation, and follow-through; relentless on quality and outcomes.
- Tools: Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and learning Salesforce (our EHR/CRM).
- Collaborator: Empathetic communicator and relationship builder who thrives across teams and partnerships.
