As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll be at the heart of the revenue cycle, chasing down aging claims, resolving denials, and ensuring no dollar is left behind.
Responsibilities:
AR Follow-Up & Denial Management
- Work all aging accounts (30+ days) for assigned clients using payer calls and online portals
- Investigate and resolve denials, payment disputes, delays, and requests for additional info
- Execute denial management procedures in line with client contracts and internal protocols
- Identify and escalate claims over 90 days to the Client Success Manager for strategic review
Trend Spotting & Communication
- Communicate recurring issues, denial trends, and payer changes to the Client Success Manager
- Collaborate to share tips and insights to keep billing practices compliant and up to date
Documentation & Software Use
- Accurately document all actions taken across multiple billing software systems
- Maintain proficiency in all platforms used for assigned account(s)
