Job DescriptionCertified Medical Assistant (CMA)
**Certification Requirement: Candidates without MA certification must be willing to obtain certification within 90 days of becoming a full-time employee.
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Dress Code: Scrubs
Travel: Not a travel role; occasional coverage at another location may be requested
Position Overview
The Certified Medical Assistant supports physicians with daily clinical and administrative operations to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. This role includes direct patient interaction, clinical support, medical documentation, and coordination within the office setting.
Key Responsibilities

Perform patient triage and record vital signs

Support providers and accurately document patient information in the EMR system

Assist with patient exams, procedures, and education under physician supervision

Manage medical records and ensure complete, accurate documentation

Handle medication refills and provide clinical support as needed

Provide administrative assistance and support scheduling operations when necessary
Required Qualifications

2-3 years of clinical experience

Active AHA BLS certification
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification (highly desired)

Athena EMR experience a plus
