Are you a reliable and skilled driver with experience operating heavy equipment? Our growing fence installation company is seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. If you're comfortable behind the wheel of a truck with a trailer and can safely operate forklifts and skid steers, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting fencing materials, tools, and equipment to various job sites. Your ability to operate specialized equipment will be crucial for efficient loading and unloading. A knack for minor maintenance on vehicles and equipment is a big plus!

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate trucks, including those with trailers attached, to transport materials to and from job sites.
• Load and unload materials using a forklift and/or skid steer.
• Verify accuracy of materials loaded and delivered against delivery tickets.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the office and installation crews regarding deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area.
• Refueling trucks/equipment and fuel cans at the end of the workweek for crews.
• Assist with other yard duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience driving trucks with attached trailers.
• Proficiency in operating a forklift and skid steer.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with minor vehicle/equipment maintenance will be given additional weight.

Schedule:

• This is a part-time position with flexible hours, primarily during weekdays. Specific hours will vary based on project needs.
