A well-established Family Medicine clinic in West Plano is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills to join our friendly and professional healthcare team. Position Overview
This is a combined Medical Assistant and Front Desk role, ideal for someone who is organized, patient-focused, and experienced in both clinical and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
" Room patients and prepare them for examination
" Obtain and document medical history and vital signs
" Perform phlebotomy and prepare blood specimens
" Administer injections as directed by the physician
" Assist the physician with in-office procedures
" Update and maintain patient charts in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
" Support front desk operations as needed
Qualifications
" Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
" Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
" Strong phlebotomy skills required
" Experience working with an EMR system
" Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
No weekends
