Shift: Day Shift
Pay Rate: $50–$60/hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer for a short-term assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of hands-on experience, with a preference for pediatric cardiac sonography. This role involves performing diagnostic echocardiograms and stress tests in a fast-paced clinical environment while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms, primarily on pediatric patients

• Conduct cardiac stress testing as required

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and professionalism during all procedures

• Accurately document patient data and diagnostic findings

• Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper functioning of echocardiography equipment

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer

• Pediatric echocardiography and stress testing experience preferred

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Compassionate approach to working with pediatric patients

Education Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program

• Military ultrasound training accepted where applicable

Certifications & Licensure

Required:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) – ARDMS OR

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) – CCI

Preferred:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
