Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students with special needs in an Extended School Year (ESY) program just outside Bensalem, PA. This opportunity spans June 23, 2025, to July 30, 2026, with classroom teacher hours set from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Thursday—totaling 26 hours per week. You’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact and work collaboratively with dedicated staff while leveraging your specialized skills.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current certification in Special Education in Pennsylvania OR active Emergency Permit with enrollment in a certification program
• Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities, including behavioral needs
• Comfortable delivering differentiated instruction in a self-contained classroom setting
• Ability to provide engaging, individualized approaches to support diverse learning styles
• Consistent punctuality and commitment to the full ESY schedule
• Reliable transportation and residence within 35 minutes of a project site
• Professional references from a supervisor in a Special Education role

• Implement IEP goals using evidence-based educational strategies
• Foster a positive, structured learning environment
• Communicate effectively with families and support staff
• Participate in teacher orientation and classroom setup June 23-25, 2026
• Adapt lesson plans and instructional approaches based on student progress
