Join our dynamic team at MovementPlus Physical Therapy in Aiea, HI, as a Physical Therapist Assistant! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in helping patients recover and improve their physical well-being in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities under supervision.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques and home care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure a clean and organized treatment environment for optimal patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with electronic health record systems is a plus.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support.
• Basic CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and staff.
