Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Correctional Shift: 8-hour Day Shifts Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA Employment Type: Contract (13-week assignment)

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program</li>
<li>Active NP or PA licensure in Pennsylvania (or eligibility required)</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred</li>
<li>Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and critical thinking skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently in a structured correctional environment</li>
</ul>

Certifications:
<ul>
<li>Current CPR certification (required or must be obtained and maintained)</li>
</ul>

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide patient care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation</li>
<li>Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to support treatment plans</li>
<li>Order and interpret diagnostic testing and assist with procedures as needed</li>
<li>Administer medications and provide clinical interventions within scope of practice</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation per policy</li>
<li>Communicate patient status updates with interdisciplinary team members</li>
<li>Follow all established clinical protocols and standards of care</li>
</ul>
