Job Description Join a highly respected precision machining company that specializes in the manufacturing and rebuilding of Babbitt-lined bearings. As a CNC Programmer, you’ll be responsible for programming, setting up and optimizing Mazak lathes using Mazatrol controls in a hands-on, high-precision environment.Responsibilities:
- Program and edit CNC Mazak lathes using Mazatrol
- Review and optimize posted programs for accuracy and performance
- Perform full machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and adjustments
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes to ensure they meet specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and work orders to determine machining processes
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of Mazatrol programming and machining experience
- Hands-on experience with Mazak lathes in a job shop or precision environment
- Strong blueprint reading and measuring tool skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for an entire shift
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on precision and quality
