Job DescriptionJob Summary

The Director of E-Commerce & Digital Marketing will lead our digital revenue growth strategy and optimize the online customer experience across all digital and marketplace channels. Serving as the bridge between strategy and execution, this leader will translate brand and business objectives into measurable digital outcomes.

You will oversee our full digital ecosystem—including e-commerce operations, UX/UI optimization, paid/organic acquisition, and CRM automation—to ensure a seamless omnichannel experience that drives engagement, conversion, and long-term customer value.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

  • Partner with the Brand Director and Head of GTM Strategy to develop and execute the company’s digital commerce roadmap, aligning initiatives with revenue goals.

  • Translate high-level marketing strategy into channel-specific plans across paid, owned, and earned media.

  • Lead omnichannel initiatives to ensure cohesive brand messaging across e-commerce, marketplaces, social media, and CRM channels.

  • Collaborate with Brand and Sales teams to align campaigns with product launches and seasonal go-to-market plans.

E-Commerce & Marketplace Management

  • Own all online sales channels (including BigCommerce, Optimizely, Amazon, Walmart, and other marketplaces), ensuring best-in-class site performance and merchandising.

  • Partner with UX/UI, IT, and Creative teams to optimize navigation, product presentation, checkout experiences, and mobile responsiveness.

  • Manage key e-commerce KPIs: conversion rate, traffic growth, AOV, cart abandonment, CLV, and revenue by channel.

  • Ensure seamless integration and data flow between e-commerce, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms.

Digital Marketing & Customer Journey

  • Lead digital campaign execution across SEO, SEM, paid social, email, and mobile channels.

  • Manage performance marketing budgets and optimize spending for maximum ROAS and CAC efficiency.

  • Develop automated lead-nurturing, retargeting, and retention programs to increase customer lifetime value.

  • Implement CRM segmentation and personalization to deliver relevant, timely customer experiences.

Data, Analytics & Team Leadership

  • Use Google Analytics (GA4), Power BI, and related tools to analyze channel performance and customer behavior.

  • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performance cross-functional team of 5-6 direct reports supported by agency partners.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous optimization.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field required. (MBA or Master's in Digital Strategy/Data Analytics preferred).

  • Experience: 8–10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or omnichannel strategy, with at least 3–5 years in a management/leadership role.

  • Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (BigCommerce, Optimizely, or equivalent) and marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart).

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, SEO/SEM tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush), CRM/Automation systems (HubSpot, Klaviyo, Dynamics 365), and analytics tools (GA4, Power BI).

  • Languages: Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

  • Industry Experience: Experience in apparel decoration, fashion, manufacturing, promotional products, or retail is highly desirable.
